Documentation

Each visit comes with a written service record useful for health-inspection visits and your own internal logs. For ongoing accounts we can build a simple binder you can hand a health inspector that shows when each visit happened, what was treated, and what recommendations were given.

Prevention Recommendations

Most commercial pest problems trace back to a handful of root causes:

  • Dumpster placement, lid condition and how often it's emptied
  • Drainage and floor sanitation in dish pits
  • Back-door gaps and damaged weatherstripping
  • Storage practices for dry goods and produce
  • Fruit fly breeding sites in drains, mop buckets and bar mats
  • Delivery boxes brought in from infested storage areas
  • Gaps where utilities (gas, water, electrical) enter the building

We'll point these out during service so you can address them without major changes to the operation.

Patios, Outdoor Seating and Wasps in Summer

Outdoor dining areas attract wasps and yellowjackets — especially later in the season when the colonies are large and looking for sugary food. We treat nests in patio structures, soffits, garbage areas and ground openings, and recommend changes to waste management and recycling that reduce attractant pressure.

Routine vs. As-Needed Service

For most established restaurants and cafés, a routine monthly or bi-monthly visit is more cost-effective and far less stressful than waiting for problems to develop. For newer or smaller operations, we sometimes start with an inspection and as-needed service and move to routine visits only if the situation warrants it.
